Good man, tidy her up for yourself and you'll be flyin
cheers ya im out tomorrow with the T-Cut but i think the boot will need a lick of paint as its faded
The paint is oxidised as its a single stage paint.. If you put enough elbow grease into the T-cut the you should be able to remove the top oxidised layer of paint and bring up the fresh red underneath

I feckin love duffman's idea! would that just be the coolest little thing you've ever seen lapping mondello!
Square body, wide arches (rivoted on) nice wide little wheels, and turbo charged and AWD!

Re: The only M80 on ISDC lol

do you have a polisher?
get the t cut going and the car will come up sweet!!! Red is notorious for fading like that!!!! a bit of elbow grease and it will be good as new again!!!
Vivo engine should fit in.... only problem being getting the 4wd shaft in there!!!
Nice project idea for the future!!! (chasis should be quite similar)
What are you using to lower her??? sourced springs / coilovers yet?

Re: The only M80 on ISDC lol

Interesting little project you have there. Was there not an M80 on u-tube with an impreza engine there a while ago. It was a pure sleeper.

She's not the only one in the club any more as two of you seem to have joined in the same month.

Welcome to the club. :subaru:

SL370878.jpg

Gave the hole car a t-cut aswell looks really well . but anyway next on my list is to fit the alloys and im going to give the bumpers a bit of tlc hit it with some back 2 black .

dose anyone know where i could get my hands on some sti badges for it i think they look better then the one thats on it

You should think about giving the steelies a bit of a spruce up until you can afford those alloys.. Sand down the rust spots wipe clean and a bit of halfords primer, then black and a couple of coats of laquer would tidy them up nicely... For the wheel bolts, again, sand down the rust and force the threaded end through a piece of flat cardboard and repeat the painting... They are forced through the cardboard to stop you getting any paint on the threads... Then a bit of Autoglym bumper care or the likes from halfords to bring the front and rear bumpers back up from faded grey to black.. The car will look a lot tidier then for less than €50

Oh, how did the T-cut work on the oxidised paint on the boot?

What Would be a nice set of Wheel archs that would fit the m80 .. Anyone ?

:subaru:

Car came up looking great there fella!!!
Stick with the Grill Badge thats on it! STi Badge would look out of place!!!
As for wheels I dont know where you would pick anything up for it, Best thing to do is work out the Offset and PCD then find out who can supply wheels at those figures!!!!!!

ya i say your right lad cheers im thinking of geting a set of golf archs see what they look like on it . . if anyone has anyother ideas on archs plz let us know
