I see the bug is been picked on once again as been the ugly brother. Lol

Personally I think the prodrive style bug next to the 22b and RB320 is the nicest Impreza and again next to the 22b from factory is very close in looks to its WRC big brother.

It has to be said that the Wrx models when they where launched needed some mods to enhance their looks but in general it took very little. Head light change and STi rear spoiler.

i didnt like the look of them either when i first started to look into subaru's. but day by day they grew on me and now i really like the look of them. given, they arent as stylish as a blob sti, but id never say they look bad (now anyways lol)
 
Well I must admit I hated them back when they were launched. They didn't resemble the shapes of classic impreza.
It was like a completely different car, similar to korean products to me....

With the STi version it started growing more and more on me, and now I actually like it. Not as much as I like the blob, but still like it.

For me its like:

1.Classic
2.Blobeye
3.Bugeye
4.Hawkeye
5.hatch.

do you remember that ugly little girl from waaay back that has grown up to be a pretty thing with some tasty assets . thats the bug !

for me its hard to compare the bug to blob and even the hawk as there esintially 90% the same car .

personally im not a fan of leggys (bar one /two) but i dont go around slagging my ugly cousin to the whole family !

Standard i dont like em but with a few mods they can look impressive

i do drive the blob, but i would not say NO to bugeye. the only problem i got with bugeyes - those STUPID quad headlights!!! standart or standart/smoked ones look a lot nicer then quads ones. :thumbsup:
 
Only Bugeye that i would have is the Prodrive one, i have had a WRX Bug with the Morettes and an 02 STI bug and i hated the front end on both, we are only talking the front end of course as bug/blob are the same car. Its amazing how the Prodrive Front bumper trasforms the car
 
Only like a limited number in the club. They are not pretty in standard form, wrx or sti but the prodrive bumper turns the ugly duckling into the swan..

In saying that, the blob is still the best looking impreza out there :icon_grin:
 
also like the look of the prodrive lip on the bug .

Are you saying you would have a prodrive bug over a rb320?

I sure wouldn't, I never liked the new age cars until the hawk came along, it's the only new age I would have, I think the bug is ok in prodrive form and the the blob is just ok too. Standard bug is horrible.

I remember seeing one (bug) for the first time in the steel out in rush 10 or so years ago and it nearly put me off Scoobies for life
 
Cann't beleave I didn't type the Rb 320 in the first post. Everyone know it's my favourite of all time. I'm keeping an eye on two that I know of in storage side by side at the minute until the day I can afford to buy one of them. I've fixed that now.

For me it's
1. RB320
2. 22B
3. Prodrive Style Bug
4. P1
5. Blob SpecC
 
ahh if the standard bug was a Child it'd be the cross eyed little fecker :icon_eyes: that had to be fed with a sling shot from the far side of the room :icon_omg: , ya know the type , with the face only a mother could love :545:


Prodrive style does the trick for me , best looking bug by far :thumbsup:

all ye fuckers driving the so called prettier new ages should think on this all ye have is a face lifted bug eye ,i love the bugs they dont need to pretty to do what they are designed to do thats to be a practical point to point fast car which they are :hjtwofinger:
also they can look great imo :thumbsup:

no need for 5k ken its just a matter of taste same as with women,, eye of the beholder and all that. just like the hatch everyone blowin sh*t about how ugly they were when they came out same lads love them now ,bug eye is an aquired taste love or loathe them they are still a good scooby to own and i can vouch for that
