well no offence but if something goes wrong at that speed on a PUBLIC main road and you were coming the other way with your family and he lost control and hit you would it bother you if he had over taken someone or not then

as i said I'm not defending him..I'm just saying they said traffic at rush hour. it wasn't is all i'm saying its just typical of Ireland and our storytelling mentality that we just add these facts to things and they become accepted as true. the standard story doing the rounds is" did you here about the lad doing 155 in traffic"..that's all im saying he wasn't in traffic.
I find it hard to sit in judgement when I've done that myself. not excusing it i don't do it anymore..I had a costly lesson... but I have done and I'll admit it, I'm not gonna be a hypocrite.
Its good to see attitudes are changing I don't want to see any young lads needlessly dying on our roads if this lad gets caught and gets put off the road it might not just save his life but others around him and it will serve as a deterrent to anyone else who wants to try it.
