I went up to Ali Burrows today to get a full geometry set up and 4 wheel alignment done. Job done - perfect 
Don't ask me what he charged because the job depends on if anything is seized etc; but he is cheaper than the Subaru specialists in the UK.
I appreciate all the help received on the technical Q & A but I have been around the block and like modern technology and knowlege and I suppose I am a fussy owl git. It amazes me how many people ignore the importance of a geometry set up.
Just a bit of useful information for everyone. Ali has been involved with Subaru's for 18 years and has a serious set up. I met him today for the first time and I have to say I came away seriously impressed. You can see from the tools used to the equipment that this man adores what he does
For your engine rebuilds and gearbox rebuilds you should give him a ring - you will be suprised
