Thermostat **SORTED**

Hey lads,

Looking for a new genuine or uprated Thermostat for my car if anyone has one. My one sh1t itself over the weekend :icon_hang:

I noticed the temp guage starting to rise, pulled over and found a pipe had sh1t itself. Replaced the pipe but the car started to act weird again, spitting water out the header tank. Phil felt the bottom rad hose and it was freezing so gussed the thermostat was locked closed and no water was passing through. Hence the blown pipe because of the pressure.

Took the thermostat out and put it in boiling hot water to test and it bearly opened. Tiny crack you wouldn't fit a hair though...

no mate!!!
havent had a chance at the moment but i'm dropping it to sti tuning tomorrow for other work and i'll get them to sort it!!!
only overheats stationery...seems the electric fan is not being triggered!!!
