thinking of gettin a V3 STI?

Any info on them? Can the bumpers and clocks be swapped from a V6 model to make them look a bit fresher?
 
As Above, Yes the bumpers and all the exterior trim can be changed and so can the dash, door cards etc., but as for the clocks NO. The newer clocks are digital speed sensor and different wiring. You'd have to change the wiring harness in the car, A lot of work IMO.

And as said before, yours appears to be a V2 not a V3 :icon_rolleyes:
 
it defo is a v3.

Iv put in an engine out of a v5 in
An changed the front to the older shape.
Keepin the old school lookin.
 
started lookin at a few v4's like the interior a bit more. any thing i should know about these too?
 
yeah dont buy the car based on interior and read as much as ya can on here before you look at the car.
 
Hi smackey, I see your post on DTD about same topic.

The v3 and v4 have same interior unless the v4 is a late year model in which case it will have the newer style dash. Essentially they are the same car.

Your best bet is to purchase a well looked after example from a club member. Have a look in the For Sale Section.
