ya true... but the sti was always compaired in the media to the evo..your right in what you say dan the sti has improved in all them ways apart from the looks but for me the new evo has moved up that bit more. they were always much of a much ness but I think a gap has appeared now.. anyway though that must be repo at that money if memory serves me right they were 67k new

according to evo it wasn't improved enough over the standard sti still too much roll
 
@Matt,

Just that I have two kids, they're buggies/bikes, and two big labradors and every thing that goes with them!
Young free and single, I would have a Type r, of any year in a heartbeat!

Sure they put stickier tyres on, and more power,
They didn't change the suspension at all!
Sure every subaru in the world should have whiteline springs and at least a rear anti roll bar! (and more negative camber) In my opinion!
