My name is Thomas, Im polish and Im based in Clonmel. Registered nearly a year ago but dont post too often. Had my car for
sale here as I wanted something manual and with extra power. Now I can gladly say that Im nearly there. My car is provisionaly sold and
in the meanwhile I've got this one. Most of you that are keeping an eye on donedeal may remember it. I went to see it and it wasn't in good
condition, but I managed to knock down the price enough so it would be nearly a straight swap with my non-turbo auto legacy , which I
consider a good deal
! Apart from the misfiring and the missing driver's mirror there were a few more annoying bits that had to be fixed or replaced.
The check engine light was coming on and off. When I checked the codes, it came up the notorious 66 accompanied by 22. Luckily when I looked under the bonnet I
spotted a broken relief valve that cost me 10 euro & 5 mins to fit.
Thanks to John ( froggy) I have sourced most of the parts I needed and theres only a few bits left which hopefully Dave (sti tuning) will send soon,
so I can have my new car back on the road.
Then I will sort out my full membership here.
