How are they going to successfully toll National Roads?? There are so many entries and exits they could be easily bypassed, so may suggest to me that there could be another big increase in motor tax under the guise of 'toll payments' ??
 
Awh I doubt it'll happen but I just wanna put this out there - Whoever voted for the green party to get into the coalition gov. wants there head examined! And tbh ANYONE who tries to defend the greens is showing their true level of intelligence! Just wanted to say that when I seen the leader of the greens picture on that Irish times page

Ya what a load of bollocks but most of that was just to Grab Headlines !!!


That said you can now travel from Cork to Dublin , on a Motorway .....(well a dual-carriageway with "Blue Signage" :tongue:)
and TBH i don't mind paying my €1.90 at Cork and a further €1.90 just before Portlaois ..........

It means you can travel from the Jack Lynch Tunnel, Cork to the Red cow in 2hrs flat without braking the 120 kph limit :thumbsup:

If We would have to pay for the use of every road what is the road tax for? Or (just wondering) the road tax is payed for the gov. and they don't want to give a cent of it to the local authorities but giving them ideas where to source it from?
