Gates belts in most of the dayco kits i have got and skf bearings in a lot of kits

Kevlar is tougher material, doesnt snap as easy

Never heard of a standard subaru belt snapping within its recommended lifetime so why not just go genuine. Although from memory, I think the subaru belts are made by gates anyway.

I assume there's no unseen benefit of spending the extra on Kevlar?

X2 wouldnt bother with it, money can be spent elsewhere
