Hi guys,

Just wondering, anyone know the cost of supply and fit of a timing belt kit on a 2004 WRX?

Cheers in advance

talk to some of the traders asd were doing a special awhile ago for 500-550 i think asd or rsr and get a price

Cheers lads, thanks Dave.

Looking at a 2004 WRX at the minute, 105k Miles on it. Lad selling it says belt needs to be done again in 10k miles time.... That be right????

Problem is. Is unknown history.

All good and well doing just the belt.

And when lads call up and ask how much do a belt on subaru most figures are area e350.

So lads so yep great.

But that would not include the idler pulleys or tensioner.

And so prices do not include coolant change.

As can take rad fans out on new age and do job no problem.

Prefer personally whilst there to also do coolant change.

If any sign of front cam seal wet at all it is done also free of charge.

As Dave said. I would budget for full job and do. For peace of mind

Actually just had a look at it. Very straight car etc but its not a 2004 its 2003 and its a bug eye. Bottom price of €6,000, with 105,000 miles, and a belt due shortly.... Maybe I'm wrong but €6,000 for a 03 bug WRX with 105,000 miles is too dear! When you see axelf on here sold his 03 blob, with like 60,000miles for €3,700.... Think i'll keep looking! Thanks lads!

Crazy

Proving very hard to get a nice clean well minded 2004 or 2005 blob eye wrx though! I'm suprised actually. Galway one on donedeal too, 04 wrx, blue, 76k miles, crashed and repaired. Marks on body, alloys all wrecked.... Stuff just not minded!!!

To be honest if I was to sell my 05 wrx prodrive, Timing belt just done and 50k on clock. Anything under 10 grand I would not sell her. Don't care what some cars are selling for these days,
But that's just my opinion.

Remember the good ones now are getting rarer and rarer as guys aren't selling or storing them as they know what they are worth or simply just storing them to put back on the road when they can afford it.
