Mainly need a new torque wrench and some hex/torx/security bits. I quite like this set on micksgarage and all my other draper tools are top notch.

I'd like a decent small ratchet aswell. I've a pain in my hole holding my halfords professional one by the head once the nut/bolt is loose, it's not comfortable at all!

Also need a decent deep socket set and oversized socket set (e.g. 20mm-32mm). I like buying what I need rather than a 150pc set and I end up not using half the stuff in it.

I know McQuillans in Blanch have some draper stuff. I can't find it atm but I remember being on a site of an independant Draper supplier before.

eFox sale still on? Anywhere else?

Mcquillans are a joke , I only go in there if stuck, their prices for some stuff is rediculous. Do

If going draper get draper expert for spanners as they are better quality in my experience. Teng are top notch, that 3/8" set with deep sockets in vinny byrnes for €67, my 1/4" set was dearer I think, I can pick that up if you want?

Efoxs sale is over but their stuff is well priced ,

What are you using the torque wrench for? Really you need both a 3/4" and 3/8" one , and a 1/4" one if doing some engine bolts like the cam seal cover bolts

I use beta tools. I find them absolutely excellent, high quality and hard wearing stuff. Wouldn't use anything else really. They are a premium end tool bit they will last forever...draper on the other hand...no. Sean o donoghues in clonmel will sort you out

For now I'm changing the head bolts on the Audi. First torque setting is only 40nm. I think my sealey one started at 40nm or it could have been 60nm I can't remember.

Aldi torque wrench is the job.
18euro when available.
Mine passes calibration testing every 6months no probs.

Try tool fix in Dundalk he calls into us in Dublin and he has some very keenly priced stuff.
Nice fella to deal with and takes payment weekly.

I have mostly Teng tools socket sets and spanners and it is excellent gear.Bit on the pricey side thankfully i was given them while serving my time :)

I had a Lidl one before the Sealey and it looked and felt identical. Even the box. Always wondered how accurate the Aldi and Lidl ones were.

I have a lot of of teng tools but don't rule out the Halfords advanced stuff, lifetime warranty and reasonable quality.
Just keep the receipts for everything.

If want it last and enjoy ur knuckles!! Buy decent, facom/teng/beta/snap on are the only job

Housemate had two Facom ratchets. 1/2 and 3/8. Really nice and the 1/2 had the oversized sockets I'm looking for but can't find the sets.

Good tools are a must alright... but can't say I am overly loyal to any one of the top makes... I've Teng stuff, Snap-on, Gedore (very good!), Halfords advanced/Pro, and some bits from Draper Expert...
