Seems like Sunday May the 8th 2016 will be the date that it airs
And it has just been anounced that Matt Le Blanc is on board now as well as Evans

Ladies and gentlemen, please be upstanding for your new Top Gear host… Mr Matt LeBlanc!
Yes, the fastest-ever Star in a Reasonably Priced Car – he famously set an as-yet unbeaten lap time of 1m 42.1s in the Kia cee’d – will join Chris Evans when the new series premieres in May.
“As a car nut and a massive fan of Top Gear, I’m honoured and excited to be a part of this iconic show’s new chapter,” said Matt. “What a thrill!”
Chris Evans said of his new TG presenter: “Matt’s a lifelong fellow petrolhead and I’m thrilled he’s joining Top Gear. Acting out our craziest car notions on screen is a dream job and I know we’ll both be debating some epic road trip ideas.
“We can’t wait to share what we’ve been up to on screen later this year,” he added.
Matt of course, is no stranger to TG screens. After setting that scorching lap time, he reappeared in the following series to test the new Kia cee’d against its predecessor, drove The Stig around in a McLaren MP4-12C, and recently presented the standalone spin-off Top Gear: The Races.

They where never in
Just rumours floating around the net
they would be best having the 3rd spot a changing position
but theyll probably put mr blobby in and arse **** it completely now
Evans leaving is all media hype to keep in the headlines as it hasnt been on in so long it needs to stay relevant in the daily tabloids
roll on the other show on Amazon Prime in the Autumn
cant see this even at the heels of fifth gear
Time will tell

Was hoping for Harris too.. this is gonna be just one big disaster... With Harris, it could have at least some level of professionalism... but hey, new season of Friends is coming:D

Evans is an unstable fooker at the best of times its a recipe for disaster if you say me .
I'll still watch it ????
Read I thing in the paper that Evans can't talk and drive and he is getting frustrated.......sure that's the whole fooking show.

Il be giving this a miss,won't be paying to watch the other 3on Amazon either

Matt I loved in Friends but thats it.
I think after all that happened the should called it the end,
not trying to milk every bit out of it.
It will never be the same, not even close!
 
It's just another cycle in my view
clarkson leaves for a few years
and will return again
like before
I'd be surprised if it works without Andy Wilman
because it's going to be visually different too without him
the other 3 where excellent presenters in my view but it was wilmans cinematography that made it a entertainment show
and that's where the ratings are
regardless of what clarkson did he was a money printer for the brand
and the head of BBC letting go of a Golden Goose
Regarding Amazon prime i have it there and it's not a patch on Netflix so I can see why they paid for the lads
smart move bye Amazon they don't need big viewers on first night there chasing subscriptions to there service and they will get that from the move
 
I'm looking forward to the new top gear, I was fed up with Clarkson and Co on old top gear, just got too scripted imo
Harris hasn't denied the whole top gear thing on social media so I'm hoping he is still on it. If they had him reviewing a car for 15 mins doing all smokey sideways stuff It wouldn't matter to me how good or bad the other presenters are.
 
Were all gonna watch it, lets be fair. And towards the end of the last season of TG I was more annoyed than entertained. Oh Hammond is playing the idiot, james may is lost and Clarkson is hitting something with a hammer. They reviewed one million pound supercar and briefly maybe talked about a real world car, if we were lucky. Then spent the other 50 mins driving refrigerators through the amazon or some ridiculous bullsh*t.

See if these lads can do a job, actual car/driver focused TG might be refreshing. Or complete crap and we can go back to the sanctimonious plato and needell and still strangely ***y Vicki for some car fixes.

That's the first bit of sense I've seen written in a while! Everyone on Facebook going on about how great TG was and how they won't watch it now. It was a load of dung for the most part, I'd say there's a thread here somewhere on how shite it was. Anyway I won't run the new format down until I see what it's all about
