after all has happened
the truth is we the viewer have benefited as we now have 2 shows instead of one
and the first show (Clarkson etc.)will have more energy put in to it so i cant see how we loose
old top gear is a entertainment show and thats it and it is very very good at that
the new one should be a bit of craic too ,I like Evans,
a lot dont, but I cant hate a lad like that who has such a passion for cars and a great collection
Chris Harris is finally on the big stage so thats a win in its self as long as he isn't watered down thats my only concern as its the only place we will see him now if im correct
Matt Le Blanc seems to know a bit about cars and when I was forced to sit watching friends years ago bye Trogs
he was the least annoying so he gets a pass too
The only thing im worried about is the cinematography but again we still have 2 shows instead of one to watch so its doesn't really matter
Lots hate Clarkson and have valid reasons ,personally I dont as I grew up of him on tv and buying his videos and suffering his guitar music on them , but hey its part of my youth and memories of growing up so he gets a pass
im looking forward to both shows and delighted it happened as i now have twice the viewing
what can go wrong ? as long as you dont expect much your grand
bit of light entertainment on the TV and thats it
you tube can give you better vids already than either
but there is still a market for entertainment (thats all these 2 shows are im guessing) and why there is so much hype around them ,its not because there car shows
and id rather watch either than fair city , or phil mitchell down the arches etc.
so im good whatever the outcome there just entertainment shows and not proper car shows
