if isdc had a like button id click it now ha. luv top gear. dont always agree, but its hilarious lol.
 
It use to be great but its gone shite recently, how many times can they race a car against a train, plane, bike, or tour somewhere in heaps of sh*t

They don't review cars anymore
 
Don't watch it anymore at all, cant stand it. Fifth gear on discovery now every week, proper car show with some real drivers.

in fairness to top gear who wants to see them test drive or give a review on a citron c5 or hyundai i40 i don't anyway . will still watch it regardless of the things they do .
and as for 5th gear apart from plato and tiff who can drive and know there stuff its boring. vbh is 20 years past her sell by date and that johnny lad is a clown and a tool .
 
So 2 out of their 4 presenters are proper racing driver's, thats still 2 more than top gear. Yes, they review some standard cars but they also do proper reviews on supercars along with proper driving tests rather than just spending the time seeing how sideways it will go. Different strokes for different folks but top gear is not a proper car show any more, 3 assholes taking 3 dumpers on a roadtrip which is all completely staged. The fact that my woman actually likes watching it because its entertaining says it all for me really.
 
Agree 100% Robbie!! TG is absolute crud nowadays!! Entertaining to a point.. But generally shite!!

I've been watching a lot of fifth gear lately... And really like it.

VBH 20 years past it it Joe... Are you nuts??? Saw a recent episode of her driving the drop top 458 italia... That girl can drive!!

Any bird that can drive well is kinda hot regardless if she has a face like bag of spanners IMHO! :p

top gear is a entertainment show
i enjoy them both
VBH may be getting old but i deffo still would ALL DAY LONG :icon_biggrin:

would have to agree with "sweetcakes" and jamie , 5th gear over top gear all day long , proper reviews V's scripted pantomine .

vbh would still get it !

would watch both , but prefer 5th gear , bit of totty , plato and tiff would kick hamster and the pensioner into touch . less bull sh1t .

I used to watch top gear just for the entertainment value as it was funny, but its become so scripted that, imo, its just awful now. The 3 lads are terrible actors so just cant carry off the script without looking like complete knobs.
 
agree that top gear is not what it once was but 5th gear is more factual based . ideally a mix of them both would make for good tv . dunno what your seeing in vbh to be honest . she is the most annoying yoke on tv
