Torque plates for engine rebuilds ej20

Hi all,
I was just looking for your thoughts on torque plates and if they are a nice to have or a have to have when reassembling the engine.

I've a v5 sti engine in my
car im doing up.
I just want to do a refresh on the engine suspected to be okay but wanted to replace valve stem oil seals, crank bearings, piston rings and a honing.

If anyone here have a set that i could buy or rent i would be interested.

FA won't be compatible with EJ engines, as far as I know. Look on RCM for stuff for your engine: https://rogerclarkmotorsport.co.uk/collections/subaru-impreza-1992-2000-engine-parts

I don’t think many machine shops in Ireland use these and probably wouldn’t rent it to you if they did ,
