Seen a black Toyota GT86 on m50 yesterday. lovely looking car! anyone know of a BRZ on irish roads yet??

Also on a side note are these gona end up with the hairdresser car label, opinions on a postcard!

Brz not been released until 2013 over here from what ive read ,

and your probably right about the hairdressers car label

They are horrible quality. Orange peak from factory and worse than the worst panel beater job, plasticy interior with no charm, tiny brakes in the front... And a price tag that would get you a serious Scooby thats 1,000000 x better in every way

I secretly quite liked the Brazzer at Scoobyfest. When i sat in the bucket seats they were built for european size people so very comfy suede and leather. The interior had leather trim all over and red stitching, very nice finish. But it was the top of the range model. Felt very MX5 ish. Probably great to drive but i wouldn't be seen in one. :icon_redface:

Getting a test drive in a GT86 soon as a mates garage got one as a demo. Appatently it's a great yoke. I'll report back once driven.

They had a ft86 in Mullingar about a month ago on demo for the cycle race's, never got a proper look at it tough.
Looked kinda alright when it passed.

Saw an orange GT86 on motorway into galway two weeks ago. Pure puck. Just looks like a made over hyundai coupe. Come to that, hyundais veloster is a better looking car. And 200bhp in this day and age??? Citroen have a 180bhp diesel DS5 out ffs.

i would still let it have me!

i think they are a savage car bout time they designed something driver focused fu*k all that electronic bull ya can either drive or ya cant end of imo

Top gear magazine did a big test of 25 cars including lamborghini's, radical's, and a range of hot hatches and by the end of the test they all found themselves wanting to have one more go in the gt86. It turned out to be the best with the best throttle responce of any car tested. :ponder: but they did say that the brz is better looking. :subaru: :subaru:

I don't entirely mind if they do, if so, the insurance will remain cheaper if the majority are owned by random hairdressers. In America, the insurance companies calculate the vehicles cost code by the ratio of male:female drivers/owners.. We'll just have to fumigate used cars to rid them of the hairspray smell...

[the range of good driver "cheap" UP TO high risk, "I lost my license before" for over 30 years old or older.]

cheap male insurance $85/month up to "high risk" male insurance $375/month
cheap female insurance $35/month up to "high risk" female insurance $225/month

So the more females- the cheaper rating the car gets. But oddly enough, they don't care about occupation, mostly just location it's parked mostly and sex.

is it GT86 or FT86 and yes for the sort of money they are asking for a sports coupe which too me looks like their answer too nissan's skyline it is very under powered, they should have went turbo rather than N/A

I think You got it wrong.

Didnt think Jason Plato had much to say about it on FG really, the power is its Achilles heel, its probably good, but had the potential to be great with another 50-80bhp, pity imo.
