I didn't time any Laps at all but the car felt a lot quicker and very flat through the bends later in the day Dec was doing 2.08 2,09 so I'd say we weren't far off each other the cars are very different but I'd say time around the same[emoji106]
Here is a few wet laps we done early in the day.

 
New door sorted for the Saxo just needs a little sticker removal and clean up should be a cheap fix[emoji106]

out of interest and from someone who never did a track day does the dude that clipped you pay for repairs or am I living in fantasy land
 
If he was at all sound he would have offered to pay for the damage but he was a bollix about it!! if you drive your car on track you are aware of the risk you take and thats that, other drivers are not liable for damage they cause you, in saying that dont let that put you off, I drive the impreza on track very differently than I drive the mazda.
 
No I think you enter at your own risk as far as I know it's very rare for someone to run into you on a track day,I never thought it would happen I always thought any damage done would be done by myself going off track,I know rubbing is racing just grand it wasn't my Subaru[emoji27]

True Eli he was a bollix he didn't even say sorry if I hit someone I would feel so bad I'd feel I'd have to offer something to make me feel better at least,love your Impreza Eli I was looking at it that day sweet car [emoji106][emoji106]
And yes don't let it put you off a track day they are great fun and very safe what happened me was a one off any lucky enough 50 bob should get me sorted just time lost doing the work is the killer for me because I'm going backwards instead of forwards for TA[emoji30]

He did come over after but as Eli said he was a bollix he was blaming me first then said he could do noting because he was out of control in the grass!he was off a few times and caused a few red flags too..

Just started back at the saxo this weekend started fitting an oil catch can and a new bigger pipe for my induction kit as the old one stepped down from the inlet manifold.
The diameter is now 8mm more so should help get more air in there also with the breather gone into the catch can it should be colder air now too.

New pipe beside the old pipe.

Don't think so Keith time attack is on the 4th of May so I'm trying to get some money together for that and get few more bits done with the car.are you doing it Keith?

hopefully but the wife's farther is not very well at the min so not sure what way the next few days are gonna go
