So this is what was left of my last clutch but maybe the lack of run in may not have helped.
Should have the new clutch next week sometime but I'll have to get 300 miles of run in on that[emoji6]Could be taking to the motorway with the lads at 3Am[emoji23]

No Guessing why it gave up :icon_grin: you got your money's worth even the rivets are worn :icon_grin: better now that when winning and on the last lap :thumbsup:
 
Started working on the Saxo again last night.

Cutting a bigger hole in the front bumper to help with cooling.Ill be trying to divert as much air into the rad rather than it flying past.The Saxo really gets hot out there so I'm hoping some of this work will keep her safe.

Also done an oil change,first time to use this but came well recommended by Ciaran Rsra

Also cutting away more arch material as I had a slight rub issue last day out.
I'm still waiting on my new clutch just heard today it could be another week as its being made at the moment[emoji45]

My new Helix clutch arrived today,so I have made a start getting the car back together.Im using my old AP racing pressure plate as its in perfect condition.All going well this should be a much stronger job now.

I'm getting a bit sick taking this gearbox out by now,so I'm hoping this is the last time this year at least [emoji27]

I'd love to have brought it to that show,don't think Id have it ready by Sunday anyway.Id say I'll be spending my Sunday working on the car[emoji20]

The Saxo is back it one piece again,new clutch fitted and it feels good.Also gave it a bigger mouth so it can breath a little better[emoji106]

How will you bed it in before the race
What's the bedding in process for that clutch.
Few runs up the road in the middle of the night ?

Helix say 300 miles run in for that clutch,but the lads in kam racing think that's a bit extreme.Ill take it to a private road not far from me and do as many runs as I can.I live on a cul de sac so done a few runs there and it feels good,just a bit bumpy for a lot of runs.I need to get two more door bars welded in for the new Mi regs so I'll have that to sort also[emoji27]

Door bars sorted and should be fully ready now for round 5 next weekend[emoji106]
