Track day smashes

Only way to enjoy your car I wouldn't be put off by this video
Best day of the year for me

iv had 2-3 spins in mondello , luckily never hit anything . scary yes , but would it put me off , no . i do tend to brake alot earlier cumin into a bend but thats because i once boiled brake fluid (2 laps too many and never experienced before ) and brake pedal went to the floor , with a bit of quick pumping , made it back to the pits , 45 mins later i was back out but since that iv learned that 4-5 laps of mondello is enough to heat things up enough . i think its a great thing to do track days and to push your car to the limit and beyond in a realatively safe environment .learning how your car handles/behaves should you break traction in real life. i had reservations about doing it , but once i did ,,,,,,,hooked .

as an impreza sti driver , i think these cars are meant to be driven , and the track is the best place to do it. but sayin that iv seen a good few crashs at mondello aswell .

Might do Johnny defo the best fun you can have with your clothes on

Great stuff, you won't regrett it, IMO driving on track in a road car once you don't try go beyond your own limited it will be a uneventfull day with lots of fun, very few lads can push a car deyond it's limits but they get on track and think there colin mcrae and that's we're the problems start.

Mechanical sympathy is a great way to having a good track day.

What was the story with the Evo at around 45 secs? Was it the fact that he lifted of that made things worse. Back end was stepping out so would it have been better to keep the boot in? It just seemed that it was a low enough speed.
