Just a question, dunno if you will know the answer or not, but could you find out??

If a car is stolen, will the tracker actually track where the car has been over, say the previous say 6 hours?? Or is it only activated upon request? The reason i ask is because having read stuff here about cars with trackers fitted, the people who steal them just seem to drive them underground as soon as they take them and then they cant be traced when they are turned on.. then they come back to the cars 6 months later after the tracker has been disabled.. Is there anything to counteract this?

Hopefully that makes sense but i'll have a clearer head in the morning if it doesnt...

not to sure to be honest frank will be able to tell you everything you want to know im wait to get his number and il post maybe tomorrow i think you can send your car a text message and it will text you back were it is and you may be able to immobilise it same way dont hold me to that as im just not sure dont have one myself as i have clifford with ignition password.sorry dont have much knowledge of these as i work in another part of the company good question though.
