Oh.. and its along time since i felt my Type R Pull 350... when she last graced the roads it had 420 of each. Hopefully soon will be 500 of each... just to round things off :)

If you've cash flow problems and you want to trade up/down to a classic type r, you're probably only going to get the same price for your wrx. So putting that on the table, if the classic has a lower MPG and higher maintenance cost, your cash flow problems are only going to be worse.
 
Id say go for a type r/ra (little biased there :icon_grin:) i do think they will be quicker and also handle a lot better its mad the difference dccd makes but even the difference between a normal sti and a ra of the same year is very noticable

No no that wont work, we need a controlling factor. Having 2 different drivers makes it uneven.

I'll volunteer to be the control. I'll take each car up a strip 3 times and someone can time them.
 
if the car is troublesome then let it off , if not then by something to add to the fleet :subaru:

@ Bonito - I don't have a cash flow problem per say, just don't want to throw all my money at trading up to a new age STI. Could do it alright but money wise I would be back to square one!

Mind is made up anyway, gonna try and go for it.

Have the car up for sale but no takers as of yet! Was offered a swap for a 2001 mercedes c180 coupe - Lets just say I hurt myself as I fell out of the chair laughing! :subaru:
