Hi all,
I have a few questions to narrow down the problem I'm having: Code 38
1. Does a Manual gearbox have a TCU (ECU for gearbox)?
2. Where can the TCU be found?
I checked all the wires on the ECU side, and they are fine.
Now I'd like to see the TCU if there are any broken wires at the connector, but I cant find it.
I read on other scooby forum that it's under the steering wheel, but couldn't find anything.
I've noticed that there are three loose connectors beside the Airbag Control Module, not sure if it could've been there before.
I've attached a few photos.
Photo 1 is the loose connectors beside the Airbag Module
Photo 2 is a view under the steering column.
