Turbo spool noise - the good kind

Hi Everyone.

So I've had a bit of seat time since getting the exhaust leak fixed it sounds a hundred times better. Although, I don't hear much turbo spool sound. The car is running a standard air intake and filter and is standard all the way back to the cat. There is a 2.5 inch catback system with straight middle section back to a Hayward & Scott back box.

I will at some point get a better exhaust system into it but is there anyway without installing an induction kit to get more turbo spool?

If you removed cat ull get a nice spool but would have to remap for decat then the pain of swaping in cat each nct..

A induction kit will give you more noise/induction too but again into remap

Thanks lads.

I do intend on going the route of downpipe and sports cat when doing the exhaust along with induction kit followed by remap just to get the best airflow.

I'll try the intake resonator for now. Would an uprated air filter like KN help and would that need remapping given how sensitive they can be?
 
From running sports cat previously don't think can hear any more spool but decat definitely

Panel filter no remap Needed induction kit yes

If car passing nct emmisions as is I'd leave as is in regard to cats whole second hand sports cats a pain in the arse

imo map as is & enjoy it
