Type r and Wrx hubs

98 type r so i assume its a V4 model. If it is then, the answer is no, the V4/5/6 use fatter shafts at the rear so wrx shafts will be too small.

Converting car to dccd,
has single pot calipers on rear at the minute so thats why im thinking it has wrx rear subframe,
So will i need hubs to suit the dccd drives??
my car is 98 and parts are coming off 98 type r..

Your type r should have dccd already surely? Or have i missed something here? Both cars are 98 type r's?

The V4/5/6 type r came with 2 pot rears so unless yours is a V3 is it?

Car was done by predator motorsport,
he fooled the lad i bought it off,
i knew car didnt have dccd before i bought it,
im putting it back to what it should be..

Ah, I see. Then yes, you will need the rear diff, shafts, hubs and brakes from the donor car.

In saying that now, I assume they have also changed the dccd box to a shitty box (as opposed to just unplugging it) so you will need the box too.

Don't forget also that you'll need the dash clocks, switches and possibly wiring if he stripped it out completely.

I have the box aswell,
Dccd clocks are in the car and switch works in the car but does nothing with the diff,
ill try drives in hubs tomorrow and if they dont work ill take everything from other car,
thanks for your help man..
