type r failing test on rear three windows with no e mark???????

Just to give a heads up when the nct first started garage's where posted a manual on the rules of testing by the nct about 100 a4 pages cause we got one.Applus are going to enforce the whole book from what im told and i remember reading this in full and wetting myself laughing as it would be hard for even a new car to pass it.And it does state allitem to bare the e mark its just going to push the modding scene out the window and imnot very happy :cuckoo:
 
Thats the truth ill slow him up a bit now when i bring in scallys car and show him a valid test
 
just checked mine,only the front drivers and passenger windows have an E mark on them. it has passed NCT twice like that sop i think the tester was pulling failures out of his hole or else his English wasn't that great and he meant to say tyres!
 
My V4 type R also has no E mark on rear windows :icon_cry:

What about P1's :ponder2:

Anyone got a P1 that they can check?

Dan might be onto something with the Etching suggestion.

Gonna send Subaru Japan an email. Hopefully they'll reply.

They will only look at the glass when its tinted

Did it have a rear fog lamp on it for the nct when it failed?
Isnt that another thing were going to have to put on the jap cars for the nct :icon_rolleyes:
 
just checked my almost new NANKANG NS1 tyres.......cant find E mark. called into tyre suppliers NANKANG NS2 have E mark. :wall:any chance mark is on inside of tyres??????? :ponder2:

as far as i remember, fog light is only checked/required if car came with one from factory.

try on the inside , some tyres are directional and will only have the print on one side .....

and the rear fog will only be tested if it came from japan with one originally ...
my B4 sailed through a few weeks ago without one ....
