type r rebuild

gambit

Sunday Drivers
finally got my type r up to ali"s on saturday.been meaning to for the last month but the roads were cat all xmass.ali comes highly recommended and is very resonable priced for a rebuild, iam sparing a good few euro heading north.i found him very helpful and informative.i was very impressed with his workshop(its cleaner than my house!)
anyway it seems to be the crank thats the problem so i should be putting an uprated version 9 crank into the rebuild.
thanks for coming to meet us at the end of the road as well, after 7 hours of towing our directional sence was fried!we got back in four hours using your directions.ha
a few pics of the car before it left

throw up as much info on the rebuild as ya can as the parts are finalised and installed.....
let us know what yer expectations are power wise and what ye actually get out of it

Best of luck

Neil

sterling pricing on rebuilds are second to none ....
way too expensive here for any work....rather the inconvience of shipping to uk..
its a pity really coz the money only enhances the uk governments pockets and gives a :hjtwofinger: to the irish one!!!

Getting work done by Ali in the next few weeks myself.

You went to the right man for the job. He supplied and fitted a sti8 block to my type r along with lots of other bits. Couldn't fault his work in the slighest.
