Absolutely Must be willing to subject the car to a full inspection in Dublin prior to finalised sale.

Budget will depend on the individual car and condition.

Will also take a type r with a blown engine and clean body to build myself if someone has one they are looking to part with :thumbsup:

Is it common for people to upgrade to V5/6 front end and rear spoiler? It'd be the first thing i did if i bought a V3/4 but there's part of me wondeing how many had the upgrade cause of crash damage.

I like that dark blue/purple V6 one and only in wicklow too so defo worth a look :smile:
 
Just rang about 3 cars there, left 2 voice mails and had to send one email. Looks like no1 wants to sell their cars :hammerhead: Hopefully they call back...

There's much better value for money here at the moment Chris, have looked at plenty across the water and when you factor in VRT, you just don't get value for it. It may come to that eventually if i don't find anything here but hopefully it won't come to that :thumbsup:
 
I have a mate selling a V5 Type-r here in galway. Rebuilt with V8 bottom end. Just spent over 2k on new gaskets and labour amongst other things. With receipts to prove. 18" PFF7's. Gold brembos all round.P1 splitter. Car is blue and exterior & interior is mint. 00 reg-but V5..dont know why. Missing the lightweight bonnet and I/C water spray bottle-dont know why but assume it had light tip-however it looks perfect to me and I know it hasnt been abused by this guy. I knew I recognised that car now Sean (dohc) :doh: .. last time it was seen, it had the engine blown, body was in shite and the running gear had been stripped from it :hammerhead:

Sean (B4) - if you could get some pics, then that'd be great :thumbsup: .. Does the owner know anything about the probable accident it had or are there any obvious signs of crash damage?
 
No signs of damage at all-and pat knows nothing about it. Think it has the roof vent too. I'll txt him for pics now

Looks great in the pics Sean, has the V6 lip on it and a V6 spoiler, are you sure its a V5? Any idea what sort of spondoolies he's looking for it?

Way overpriced for the current market imo.. tbh I wouldn't even bother ringing him about it. That's his price and in an ideal world, it would be worth at least that. Good luck to him if he sells it for that or even close to that but my budget won't see me anywhere near that so I won't be contacting him :icon_sad:
 
Yeah definitely V5. Thats a V5 spoiler-doesnt "kick up" at the rear edge and V5 interior. V6 V-limited has nasty blue dash-not my cup of tea..dash on this one is black. Think price is about €5200. Lot of car for the money IMO and 00 reg to boot.
