Type R Wanted

Was looking at that WRC limited for the last few days, very nice car apart from the wheels. And i think your man's a bit optimistic about the navy one, gonna be expensive to find and fix the oil burning problem.

I hear you're now a mod over there now :icon_lol:
 
If the car above was tipped I can tell you it was cosmetic only-it looks 100% straight. So what if V4 grille-get V5 one for less than €100-knock it off purchase price. I actually hope no-one buys it now-want it myself.
 
Lads I always thought that only the version 6 grill jutted out and that all versions up until that where flush.

Looks like a very nice car and with brembo conversion already done well worth a look. What WRC special edition are you looking at Rob? I'd go for them everytime. I think their everything a Subaru should be.

If you like it then ring this lad and make him an offer on this I'm sure he'll realise its not worth the money in todays market and that a quick sale is much better then no sale. :subaru:

That WRC edition is in the UK Eric, was just looking at it on pistonheads. Nice example but way too expensive.

That V5 V-Limited is gorgeous too but overpriced too. Maybe its still worth a phone call but I can't see us agreeing on a price, no harm trying i suppose though :thumbsup:
 
The one I saw today was a complete bag, had a thump in the back, paintwork everywhere else was in shite, rust coming through all over and the bonnet had been partially resprayed.

Plenty more fish in the sea :smile:

No mate, not in Galway, was in Kildare.. Figured I'd start the search locally in and around Dublin so went 15mins out the road to see it.. I knew it was a dog before I had even got out of my car to have a look.. Glad I hadn't travelled far to see it :hammerhead:

Is that one in Galway still on donedeal? It'll save me a trip if you can put up the link. Its amazing how cars can look brand new in the pictures and then you turn up to see a scrap heap :icon_hang:
 
Just checked donedeal and no sign of it now although theres another black type r in gallway could be worth a look, just shows though when you find a clean one it would be hard to let it go again :subaru:
 
Ha have a few small bits to do with it as they all do but nothin major, wud love to get my hands on a mint blue one some day and never sell it, have a white v4 type r at the min great fun to drive :icon_grin:
 
Well wear with it :thumbsup: .. Have to go through the whole of donedeal again over the next few days and make myself a new list. Its surprising how many people don't put type R anywhere in there add so I've to search through the entire sti list to find a few that i may miss :doh: :doh:
 
Think I know the black type-r in galway you mentioned thats gone off donedeal now-lad has emigrated-last I heard it wasn't sold. PM for details as its local to me.

Well Man, friend of mine is thinking of selling her black 99 type r ex club car aswell,taxed and nct'd and new clutch just fitted, absouletly babied.pm me if you want more info on it
