Hows it goin,

Looking to have 2 tyres bought from camskill fitted and balanced to a front wheel drive car.

Any know anyone who could do them cheap??as in cheaper than kwik fit etc??

Cheers lads!!

For a mate and lives on Navan Rd but will drive anywhere to get it done cheaper!!

Also, has 205/65/16 tyres on here but i have 2 205/55/16 eagle f1s in the house with only 23 miles on them?

Would it be much of a problem having two front different size to back?will it make difference?? :ponder2:

Its a peugot 307 diesel 2dr van..

It'll look mad!
Also the back of the car would sit higher on one side, screw up the brake balance, and you'd get unever suspension and tyre ware!
But aside form the above, should be no problem!
seriously though, I wouldn't do that!
I'm afraid I'm no where near there, so don't know anyone,
I'm sure someome will recomend somewhere near by!
Best of luck
Dan

Courture should be able to fit/balance.Better to support club trader and not too for from you

Dont think you should fit diferent sizes.

:smokin:

Yeah most of them will fit even if not bought there.

Sure its only fitting and balancing...a friend of mine had to sign a form

to the effect that the tyres were not purchased there etc so a waiver of responsibility.

Ive no probs doing that!! Thanks lads...pm'd topgear so wait till get reply!

i went to kwik fit the other day and the exact same problem they wont fit any tyres unless u buy them from them

We must be out of recession then :icon_rolleyes:

Why would companies be refusing business in these times, especially when there is no costs involved for them apart from a couple of cents on wheel weights :wall:

Coolock Industrial Estate, theres a breakers in there thats fits them..

Most places wont fit tyres that were purchased elsewhere, theres loads of mobile fitting companies now aswell, but they look for around 90 quid i think.

I would have gone to Top Gear if i had of known they would fit them

i said it to him and he said it is taking business away from them as ur not buying the tyres too ha i laughed and got back in the car??????????????

because if they fit a tyre and the tyre is faulty and something happens, they would be liable i think. Roundabout tyres on thye walkinstown roundabout do it too, but i wouldnt recommend them ask they cant seem to manage to balance wheels properly

Its an insurance issue for most of them, if they scratch the sh1t out of your wheels you can go after them..unless you sign a waiver but ive never even been offered one

top gear fitted tyres for me no problem, they are on the list on eire tyres for tyre installers ,good price too and only a short drive up the n2

Pat Clifford tyres on the coast road beside the dublin bus depot will fit them for ya,its about €20 a tyre
