Tyre Fitting and Balancing

40 euro to fit and balance 4 tires.


From Coutures section in April 09...I'm sure Nick will still offer the same or similar & I would imagine Kieran from Top Gear would probably do likewise.

Lets give our traders some work as they provide excellent service to us (+ also the cheapest service as far as I can see)
 
When I bought my new wheels lots of the main tyre places wouldn't fit the wheels and track the car for me (i.e. the new tyres were already on the new rims and balanced but they refused to put them on the car!!!)

Is it just me or is 80 euro a lot of money to fit and balance 4 tyres. Had a look at that installers link for Cork area and anyone that does it down here seems to want at least 20 euro per tyre.

Seems like the price is set high to stop you buying tyres elsewhere, which makes sense I suppose, but no consolation to me and my 4 new tyres sitting in the shed at home!!
 
You could always sell the tyres on here & someone in Dubland can get nick couture to fit them for €40 :icon_grin:

Try Japfest in the pouring rain, might as well have had baldy tyres... :lol:

20eur per tyre is what kwik fit quoted me alright!! :shock2: :cuckoo:

Exactly brian..pm'd topgear there as would rather see the boys on here get the business!!! :clap:
