I got nearly new part worn EAGLE F1's off a fella up by the Airport for 45 squid each... ya won't get better than that I tell thee.

Ive Dunlop SP3000's on mine at the moment.
Excellent in the wet and dry.
I believe Toyo T1-R's are the dogs. Proparts are a trader on here who sells them. Ill be gettin a set when the time comes

The Toyos are some job, they keep me planted Chris. I also had yokohamas on my civic and they were super

I just had the TOYO T1 R delivered from eiretyres.com this morning. Still no wheels to put them though :(

toyos on the front and nankangs on the back, it feels great going round bends. feels like a tincan

hows it going you should try http://www.eiretyres.com/ deadly for getting good tyres at a better price, only catch is they take about 5 days to be shipped and then you need to get some nice bloke to fit them for you.

alright lads well after taking to a few people ive gone for these - http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.php?plid=m4b0s16p13101 there the spec C tyre although i may have to eat beans on toast for this month  thanks for the help
I had them tyres on my car they came standard on them but I had to take them off. if your driving on good surface roads they are the best tyre but if like where I live the roads are crap the car ws all over the best I nearly ditched it a few times and I was only going sloe. the car was tramlining all over the place. I got the toys off camskills all problem solved. If you have good roads the reo 70 are the best tyre

Never tried Toyo's but I gather they're really good! I've had Yoko's that lasted notime... but very grippy and Eagle F1's (so, so)... but got a set of BF Goodrich's off Brendan Brady in Arklow (main supplier of BF's) and they are cracking tyres. Not to soft, not to hard and give you bucket loads of grip! If you're using your car to commute you won't be putting tyres on it too often but won't sacrifice grip levels either! Plus... they're reasonably priced and not mad money!

I've mates with an Evo, one with a GTR, another with a GTI-R and another lad with an RS Focus and they all swear by em... and they used to be the chosen supplier of SWRT... so can't be bad!

Yeah I'd swear by BF Goodrich as well. Had a set before and they lasted a long time

Can anyone recommend a good set of tires for not a huge amount of cash, I may have to get new ones, when I get my car back. I was quoted 220 euro for new tires from Advanced Pitstop when I got my car serviced there about 3 weeks ago. I don't think I'll be going back there though cause he tried to phone Mitsubishi for parts for my Leggy :ponder: :dunno:
Thanks again
John

220 quid for 4 tyres is cheap, must be very basic tyres... I got a cheap set on mine two months ago and I'm regretting it. The car is eating them, gonna go for a better set next time, prob worth the extra cash as I won't have to change them as quick...
