ugga bugga - new turbo moan - whine

Worried :

Tonight I think the turbo is making a horn like moan - whine.

It goes up in intensity with the turbo.
Nothing at idle or at revving at rest.

No loss of power, except I can't hear the gush at the end of the turbo spooling when you change gear.

The sound actually sounds like it's coming from the centre console.

Googled it and now afraid that its the beginning of the end....

How muchos will a new turbo cost?

well no point in a dignoses over internet thomas.



as could be a number of things like exhaust gasket etc.

The whine seems to have been the clip - it slipped off of the intercooler and it was sucking in air.

but could you have a look at your email when you get a chance please cos I need something else,
