Did you see his positioning for Modric's goal? He was almost on the front post!!

Just been watching the highlights and Ronnie Whelan thinks its because Ferdinand said last week that United don't get penalties that they got one today. For me, you could see Carrick got the ball and then Gomes took him, how is that not a penalty? Fair enough in realtime there was doubt but even after the replays Whelan was still adament it wasn't a penalty!

Never seen Berbatov run as quick in a United shirt as he did to get in the box for the lead up to his goal! More of that please!!

Carrick touched it away from the keepers hand, you can clearly see that

the ball went 90 degrees to carrick left yeah he touched but the keeper got a finger tip to it thats all he needs
