Hi Folks I was driving into work today and I think my accelerator pedal stuck open so I pressed down on the clutch and it seemed to be ok maybe just stuck under mat any way I got to work 2 min later and got a slight burning smell in the car and poped the bonnet and there was slight smell and a little smoke in and around the fans I have no warning lights and no over heating so I dont know what do you all think as I am off to Killarney this weekend and dont need any trouble many thanks John L.
 
At a complete guess i would of said the burning smell was the clutch ,
it's a pritty distinctive smell............... :dontknow:

Thanks Man I :multijump: kinda had the same idea but the fkuning car has cost me so much I panic at the slightest thing cheers Niall.
 
Clutch. :dontknow: Did it just rev for a second? Happened to me before but didnt notice burning smell
