Interesting stuff, unbelievable drop in new car sales from 08 to 09.

would be interesting to see all right Anto but i would imagine the diesel impreza is selling the most judgeing by the numbers on the road , seen very few legacys or foresters about tho

I dont think ive seen a hatch impreza in petrol from yet on the road .... every time i see one i look at the back and get very dismayed when i see that shagging "Boxer Diesel " badge

cos i hate diesel with a passion

In fairness Subaru sales figures are terrible . You'd wonder how a company like that can survive in this this country.

Subaru was one of the very few car makers is actualy increased they'r worldwide sale in 2009 to compare to 2008. All enthusiasts are complaining about the new shapes but I don't mind as long as it saves the company :subaru:

@Scoobymaniac ok, that's not so bad so!

@Anto J You'll get subaru stats by model here: http://www.motorcheck.ie/blog/stats/?y=2010&make=subaru&model=impreza&cat=1
If you look at this link you'll see that there's only been 19 'new' imprezas registered so far this year.

It's a long way to send cars to here from Japan only to get sales figures like that.....I dont know why they bother but i'm glad they havent given up on it. I didnt realise things were that bad though.

Increase of 68.5% in new private cars licensed (March 2010 compared to March 2009)

Recession???

in all fairness tho its a rise of 68.5 percent on very small figures last year tho andy , and last year was extremely poor year , at least its a rise tho ,
