For anyone thinking of buying something to record your track day efforts and what not , then i have just the thing for you .I got this during the week
http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250602065272

And i have to report , i love it ...
So cheap compared to other systems , that it could be feasible to buy multiple units and stick them on various parts of the car interior , exterior , etc ... make a nice movie to keep .

heres a video i made today on my commute to work , just to show the quality of it . i know its not HD , but in all fairness for 17quid you cant go wrong . it doesn't even qualify for the 60euro a month club .

This was just with the camera clipped (using a clip supplied with the camera) onto the sun visor , there are numerous ways to mount it , but this is what i find handiest .

What ye think ??
Handy for trackdays , motorcyclists , mountainbikes , and it also has a sound activated mode , very useful for other pursuits :icon_nana:

jaysus u cant go wrong for that money! I'd say if you could clip it on to something more sturdy, it would be a bit more stable.

Indeed , if you attached it to a interior surface of a window using a satnav suction cup thing , you'd be onto a winnner

got mine today,,havin trouble gettin it workin though,,its all in japaneseish or somehitn,,should it run straight away when ya plug it into the computer?? :ponder2:

ok the disc thing you get .. pop that in the pc , and drag and drop the .exe file onto your desktop ,
thats your camera software ...one of the pdfs shold have a engrish explanation of operations

other than that , charge it for a few hours , put it in your car , press the power button, lights should flash on the top, then hit record button on top, and the red light should flash until you want it to stop ...
pressing the mode button should bring you into sound activated recording mode ...

plenty of videos on youtube if you cant understand engrish ,

jibberish or should i be able ta read this like the matrix?

From what i've read , sandisk are the best cards to get . 12 quids on ebay , i couldn't wait though so i got raped for 30 squids in carphone warehouse .
Any other card will lead to frame drops and a jerky picture i believe .

@Sti9029 yeah you'll be able to decipher it no bother , its as easy as working a continuum transfunctioner
