Viewing/hopefully buying a Legacy gt estate_ JAPCARS. Advice please

Yeah no prob, my car is full automatic, half leather, which I would prefere to full leather, bit tacky and sweaty in my opinion, have had everything serviced on it recently, nct 2011, need I go on!! All specs and pics can be seen on the other thread!!

Hi Nicknack

Its not me you have to convince, it’s my wife and when a women gets an idea into her head there is no changing it. Best to try keep the peace and all that.

Sorry Nicknack, but your car is way to down the years for her and too much money in her eyes for a car nearly or just over 10years old. She is moving from a 07 GTI, full heated leather, DSG gearbox, satnav etc. It’s killing her having to get rid of her car but, we are in the grips of a recession.

I’m assuming you are using the word “Tacky” in reference to being sticky and not to its true meaning as in Cheap, Vulgar or shabby?

The blue and black leather interiors in the b4's is tacky, not the regular Leather in the Irish models. By tacky i mean looks crap!!! Best a luck with your search.

I think the blue and black looks great and is in no way tacky or my missus wouldnt get into it. I think you're just jealous cause you only have half leather :icon_nana:

Once again thank you to the guys who pointed me in the direction of Ciaran .

He is booked in Wednesday morning to look over the car. Fingers crossed it is as advertised , as I'm getting frustrated looking for a car. Two months now on the trail.

Arrived at Japcars todsay with Ciaran (ASD Automotive) to my surprise the car was sold????? MMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.

No phone call or noting...

Starting to believe some of the rumors now.

You were warned! I would have a hard time believing ANY salesman when they say its serviced etc nevermind Japcars. That lot out there would look more at home in a field full of livestock! They did exactly the same thing to a mate of mine about a year ago...even after he put a deposit down! As others have said...look elsewhere, you'll be better off in the long run!

Hard luck fella, but if they had to hide the car around back then it was obviously a sh1theap. Keep looking out and you'll find something better out there

I can't stand the conmen that run that place! I paid a 50% deposit on a car a few years back, went back 4 days later at the time we arranged to collect the car and pay off the remainder only to be told the car was sold and that i had never left money on it!!! He paid up about 2 hours later when my uncle arrived with his Garda warrant card!! Seen the car i was after 2 days later on the bit of forecourt beside the road then.

I had a look around this place a good few years back-I had 22 odd grand to spend at the time. Guy up there didnt even walk around with me-just pointed at a few evos and grunted. Every single car up there that day was a big bag of SH1TE. I wouldnt buy a box of fags off him.
