Vrt question

Make sure you hsve all your paper work and know where the vin number is stamped they will need to see this

The only number I can see on the 00 Sti is behind the engine on the drivers side and the same number is on the plate beside the battery is this the right number starts with gc8-****** am I looking at the right number?
 
Yea that the chassis num James make sure you have recipt. Sayyin you only have the car couple weeks or they try backdate vrt owed :thumbsup:
 
Under the chassis number on the plateon shock tower, there is a model number, will be gc8 4ed or something, thatsw what determines ho deep you will be penetrated fella :)

That doesn't seem too bad tbh. Make sure the details are correct and then print that off and bring it with you. Only pull it out if they try to charge you more. What are they listing the OMSP at on that quote?
 
Don't mind that on line calculated I brought my 06sti last year said it was going to be €9000 ended up paying €11.500
Braught my e30 two months ago said it was going to be €1100 ended up €1800
They are a robbing shower of cnunts as above bring lube lad

:sad: I am feeling shafted all ready
I was allowing for €1500 I be sick if it's anything higher. Think the lube might be needed after tomorrow. I post here after 4pm and let you all know how I get on.
 
I gave the pricks €11500 last year plus €1000 euro for my plate 06-LS-(571) (STI)
Plus got caught driving on the English plates an cost €3000
So when they looked for €1800 for the Beemer I told them to go fcuk an sold the car lol

Oh an if he says when he gives you the price you can apeal it
Tell him that's bollix tried this an got back €200 back the revenue don't like giving back money
Jus love taking it make sure you let us know how ya get on

Holy sh1t tom, you've given them some money, 3k for driving on english plates thats unreal
 
i dont know if i want to be sick or not bad news is i dont have the cert for when the car was imported into the country and they want to charge me for that. full cost at the minute is €2836 if i can get a sad that states import was paid by the people that imported it into belfast its €1576 and only €76 over my budget i have a name and number and a letter that was being used to import the car hopefully this garage in cookstown and the person will get back to me with good news asap :pray:
