Ian Halls old car off here would be up for sale the lad that bought it had a bit of bad luck with it engine wise the engine let go last year, and has ran out of interest and money, he would sell. It's very near complete again as far as I know all that's left is a remap and it will run a safe 370-380ish bhp it has a great spec with a lot of very expensive parts, and could be a good buy. It's a very well known car which over the years has had a lot of money put into it.

Dave Byrne has done all the work on the car for both owners and could fill you in on what it does and doesn't have and the condition impartially and you could decide for yourself It would be within your budget as well

Now has a Jap sti engine with AVCS heads, the turbo has zero miles on a rebuild ecu was updated to latest software also as far as I know
 
Is that to look at the one I linked? If so let me know if you want the number for the owner or Dave can supply it. It has the potential to be a great car it has all the right parts and IMO is not a bad place to start in terms of you know what will or won't have been put into it and you can have it mapped and driving knowing the history of the engine thats in it now rather than guessing
 
I've no interest in messing around with the car now. Just want to sit in and drive.

The fella seller the silver twin scroll on DD seems genuine and Dave knows him. Should be a fresh car.

Is the dc5 sold rich?
 
No it's not sold. Haven't advertised it either as I've a person willing to buy as soon as I sort myself out. Getting good money for it too but I'll be in tears to see it go

Beautiful car lad I hope who ever your selling it to looks after it as well as the previous owner and yourself. Have you knocked the skyline idea on the head?
 
Yeah I have for now. One R34 around the place and he has no interest in speaking to me about it even though he wants rid of it so I won't waste my time anymore and VRT is too much to import.

There's a lovely impreza wr1 going up for auction on ibc tomorrow for very handy money it's grade 4b and low miles might be worth a look.
