Wanted: Gearbox for 99 Legacy B4

Hey!

I'm really struggling to find one. Anybody know anybody with one?
Transmission code TY754VBAAA

8 weeks I have been looking for one! Please help
 
No joy with them although they said ring back. Is there any other places I could try?
 
You could try http://www.apiengines.com/, send them a mail, I know they had 1 a few months ago, they were looking for £750 + your old box for a reconditioned box. I know I found it extremely hard to get one myself and in the end the dealer swapped it out one he had in another B4

I know how you feel mate, I was over 2 months as well but at least my car was semi driveable. Hope you get it sorted :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

You're a legend! They have a few of them in stock! Have to pay what you said & shipping over & back but at this stage I dont care...I just want my car back! Thanks for the info dude :thumbsup:

ok, i'll ring him now, he doesnt always answer it if he doesnt recognise the number..!! bit weird like that..!! i'll get him to call you lad..

Was driving to work one morning (a monday, of course!) there was a whining sound coming from it. My monday morning logic said "keep going, drive straight to the mechanic & it will be fine". Big mistake! I kept going & about 2 miles to go (out of 20) there was a banging smashing crunching noise & it slipped out of gear and that was that. stupid, i know. The mechanic said it was completely smashed inside.
 
Almost! Bought the box from Smurfs mate ^^ he threw in the dif and even delivered it from Dublin to Cork! :shock:

Should have been fitted over the weekend, if not it will be ready for tomorrow! :subaru:

Chalk it down! i'm driving my friend's run-a-round at the moment...1992 toyota corolla!

A massive top speed of 120kph (it could probably do more but it shakes so much im afraid it will fall apart! :D )
