wanted nice spec type r

What you'll get will purely depend on your expectation of a "mint" car!

Rob spec c spent over a year afaik lookin for a mint one and couldn't even find a clean one and he had cash to spend on a mint car!
 
4k might but you one... But not ticking all the boxes. They used to be cheap due to the majority of them being rough bodywork or mechanically shot... Now there hens teeth in good condition so your odds of finding one with big power with graphs to proove it could cost you closer to 6-7k depending on condition and engine rebuild etc.

As the saying goes if you have nothing good to say, say nothing atall! Fair enuf he wont get all that for 4k but its better to help this chap realise that in a better way than jump on the band wagon with these comments.

I think hes welll aware what he.ll get for 4k its not his first subaru . I dont think there.s many lads with clean type r.s looking to get rid of them for 4k

I agree with Jamie there hard to come by now if good nic, I actually have somebody with cash waiting on my own and at good money. But for the reason there gettin hard find in good nic i am not sellin.

My type r stands me €7,500 and thats not inc extras for 00 version 6
it be hard to find someone selling for 4k but you might be lucky best of luck , great car.
 
No mention of mapping there despite having a front mount, induction kit & exhaust...

Allow an extra 2k minimum for rebuild on that one too I would think :icon_eyes:

Yeah. Probably looking closer to 8 grand to tick all the boxes. :goodpost:
