wanted scooby for dc5

looking for a wrx sti prodrive style for a bit now but as im having trouble selling my itr dc5 for cash as nothing is selling at the min
so i thought this might be the best place to advertise im looking for a new age sti or 03/04 legacy as a swap for my dc5 its on done deal just search my no. 0872181495im a mechanic owner and fan of these cars! its done deal to see the car

Had a look there-lokks very good.I had one in the past and to all that view it,believe me they are hard to find without the drivers seat bolster collapsed.On this alone I would reckon this car CANT be bad-best of luck lad-Id nearly go back to one myself.
 
01 dc5 in a swap for 03/04 sti or leggy!!!!!
seriously doubt it!!!!
gonna have to throw few grand cash with the honda IMO...

I might be chanceing my arm on an 04 leggy but 03,s are advertised roughly the same price as dc5,s and as for an impreza 01,s are fairly on parity with the teg
 
In a straight line turbo wins hands down but on a track like mondello the dc5 would more then easily keep up or be faster then a standerd 01 sti!
its one of the best handling ff cars in the world and 217 bhp from an na engine is very good also much cheaper to run and service and 250bhp can be had with just bolt on parts ie exaust mani induction kit and a remap
 
Some may like them some may not but they handle great for a ff car not as raw as the dc2 but honda had to make the dc5 fatter for safety standerds like most cars from 00 on gainned weight
like the new age scoobs
 
dc5 is a lovely looking yoke and can move just nicely but sounds like a broken washing machine

you cant compare an sti in the same sentence as a dc5, totally different cars and have to be driven differently to get the best from them
 
and that they will

if only we could all have a scooby for the road and a stripped out dc5 for the track
 
yeh ive driven 01 sti found it very confy and the torque is great pulls like a train also my mate had a b4 and that was very nice to drive proper cruiser with bags of power to

Well hopefully il get an impreza sti but b4 are nice cruisers either way it depends if anyone wants the teg :icon_grin:
