Had an attempt on my car last night.
F*c@ers had a go at the boot lock with a screwdriver by the looks of things.
They didnt manage to get into it though but the lock is damaged, cant get the key in it.
So just to let you all know to keep an eye out.
If i catch them im gonna have a go at them with a screwdriver

Cant understand why they would go for the boot. No easy way into the car from there anyway.
Probably joy riders as apposed to profosionals. Scumb either way, jealous of pther peoples cars.

probably through the boot so they can by pass your alarm?

Ive pretty much the best steering lock you can buy on the car and any more vibration would have set the alarm off. :dunno:

dirt, more than enough reports on this site of car thief activity, it saddens me really

Yeah really annoying.
Gonna get a better alarm fitted if anybody can recomend one and a fitter(preferably a mobile one)
The alarm on it is one i fitted with a pager.
Cheers

probly just kids that hadnt a clue :ponder:

but iv also herd a few storys what they do now is pop out the boot lock

and put in an old one then get a key cut and come back the next night

knock the alarm off aff and just use the key and drive off, or follow

you and wait till you run into a shop for a second without puting on your alarm

or maybe while you run in and pay for petrol...

Probably kids that didnt have a clue otherwise pro's doing as you just mentioned paul.
Too much dirt on the boot i think for them to have removed lock and not rubbed dirt off in the process.
Fingers crossed tonight.

sweet, they cant steal your car because its a smoldering pile of steel! :D

I'd get thje clifford G5 with proimity sensors and anti hijack!! and I'd look in to getting the trunk monkey and flame throwers as a backup!!!!!
Sreiously though, You can't beat the proximity sensors! Beeps as soon as anyone goes within a few feet of your baby!!

Thanks for all the help everybody. Ill deffo be upgrading the alarm asap. Ill call a few places tomorrow.
I could always make the car live at night. That would give them a fright when they touched it. might even find them lay beside the car in the morning    :twofinger:

"Make it live"
What a great idea! Just hook it up to a buzzer so you can dump the sumbag off a bridge like our monkey freind! :D
