what a nightmare im having with the fuel reg fuel pipes,
few weeks a go im driving along and get a smell of petrol in the car, it was driving fine but stunk - on investigating i find that there is a leak in the pipe( the one that goes from the fuel line to the reg), i thought that's
just bad luck tho its less than a year old
so i ordered so more braided hose online and fix it up, then yesterday, turn her over and to let her warm up, went out five mins later to bring kids to school - opened the door and whack smell of petrol could of knocked me over.
had a look and found that the other pipe (from the reg to the rail) had split and was pissing petrol - luckily i had some more left over from the last time, spent this morning with me head under the bonnet making sure all was grand.
Q: would it be common for these braided hoses to wear that quick ? or just bad luck ?
just wanna know if i should get a supply of the stuff for the future
