Don't know about the steel things but the glass one looks like a fruit bowl, could be wrong though as you never really know. Could even be for nuts.

Catch tanks alright and I'd say both could have been fitted in Subaru.
the one on the left has 2 inlets and 1 outlet so it could be used for both valve covers and the other one could be used for crankcase!

P.S. and like Eric.. not quite sure about the glass one... It would be tricky to fit it under the bonnet methinks :lol:

lol bright sparks this late at night no lads they came in a box with a nissan pulsar gtir i had here for a while so thats why i hadent a clue what they were for might try stick one under my bonnet for a look so

Large one could be a coolant expansion bottle... and small one must be an oil catch can!
