Took off the splitter today and took it home for a respray with the plastidip. Cleaned it down, the gave it a wetsand with 800 grit to help the plastidip adhere. Wiped it down clean with a solvent degreaser to remove any residual oils and gave it 2 coats of the plastidip. 2 more coats tomorrow and that's it in much better shape :subaru:

As for taking it off the car, thank god for stainless steel bolts, no rust so it was a piece of piss to remove after 2 years :clap3:

Ordered new centre cap stickers, eventually found a crowd up north that do them.

Loads of work to do now next week!

Got them on eBay a lad in the north is doing them Ciaran.
I'll see what they are like first.

Got my box of bits from scoobyparts too this morning.
Few jobs to be done this evening now

Picked up a set of these for the track car

Very, very very envious Johnny!!! :new_puppy_dog_eyes:

Might have to rob one of you at some point to get the positioning right for my seat bars. :icon_biggrin:

Cheers lads

Yep finally got them, they need a little bit of work to be spot on but are in general good condition.

On the plus side I taught all the "prodrive sparco" seats had prodrive by sparco written on them at the head rest but very few came with only prodrive written on them like the the ones in the orginal "N1WRC" car like the ones I have.

Even the S5 wrc wide arch car came with the seats with prodrive by sparco written on them

So these are a rare sight

Ps Jamie, no problem lad when ever you need them
