What did you do to your car today?

I see this up for sale on DD, did you use a shell of a 1.5 coupe when doing her? theres no difference, just wondering and it looks mint, I wish I had the money, great price aswell

Ya 1.5 shell. Main reason was its so hard to get a good type r and came across the 1.5 coupe for very small money so stripped it and went from there. Sold now after all the hard work ha
 
Where did you get your speedlines refurbed Frank...? Did they have the fatigue fractures in them being magnesium...? Can't find anyone here who will mag weld wheels.

[/quote]i stripped them myself and didn't see any cracks or anything. Got the paint from wheel paints U.K. and the same fella that painted car painted them for me. They originally came from scoobysub

I'm surprised they'd no cracks as they're renowned for them... Especially in magnesium. Congrats on sale.. Great looking car.
 
finally i got it back the other day . now jus to get some windscreen decorations sorted !

Sorted some windscreen decoration myself . Taxed her for 3 months . Gotta get it in for an nct soon or I'll be locked up

Tax office must be happy this week I ddid mine yesterday as well.

Nct is on Wednesday so need to change downpipe and hid's over the next couple of evenings after work. :mechanic:
 
My sti foz now finally mapped! Also was playing with the idea of a decat but rather than have to do that, gonna get a straight pipe made up for the centre section. Tried one on today and sounded much better without having the hassle of the decat!

The list goes on! Now not sure If I wanna sell it or not!!

Also got a nice package yesterday sone of my Perrin bits for the engine bay
Also got my red rear light overlays hope to get to fit them over the weekend
