Changed the front pads for a set of ferodos but managed to round one of the bolts holding the caliper on so turned into a pig of a job

Swapped out the alternator and put on the standard recirculating valve,then went for a blast

Cos I wanted to give the calipers a bit of a cleanup while I was at them anyway wanna get them painted at some point as well.

Why were you at the bolts ?

Must be sliding calipers Keith as you have to remove the bottom bolt and loosen the top bolt then flip the caliper up to change the pads. on 4 pots and brembos it's just pins and springs

Refilled Air con, received some service parts (thanks Davelegacy ),major service booked for tomorrow incl check valve clearance.

Yup 2 pot sliding got sorted in the end but was a pain there was a massive difference in pad wear between the two sides but I did have bearing issues which dave sorted for me few weeks ago

At the exposed car show today in sword show centre serious show serious standard of cars from both north and south
There was a best of 10 in the show But i won first place and best overall car of the show and flew the ISDC flag high and proud today
