Very nice! and accenting the Brembos well

+1 to that. Lovely wheels, Tommy.

@Dan great job done on the engine bay

Would never have thought they'd suit a newage Tommy... :ponder2: always reckoned multi-spokes looked best on newage cars... but in fairness they look lovely!

i was of much the same opinion 2 Jamie , thats why i was looking at speedline and oz multispokes , but i just wanted something different and thats what was holding me back , these came up at good money for essentialy are a brand new wheel , never seen a wet day and they havent got a mark on them .

picked up a knock detector from Couture and lost my front lip on the way back( though it was engine exploding when it came off!)

well worth rebuilding that car
[/quote]

ill be taking it to the grave with me!

cost you what 5k to rebuild? you would lose that on depreciation on a new car easily...so people who scoff at 5k for a new engine are probably the same people who are obsessed with having a high number on their reg plate..trade their cars in every couple of years and probably end up losing 20k in 8 years and spend their time driving around in a boring turd..

i think 4.5k, luckily i had just got my work bonus from last year so, failure timing was actually pretty good, i wasn't too much out of pocket. Nothing i can think of, that i could replace it with that would fall within my budget, sure i could get a car loan out and get something newer for 20-30k but not interested in that hassle and overhead at the moment.

washed and waxed it for the first time since putting it into storage last june,
took my aussie cousin for a blast in it aswell, now the bollocks wants to buy it off me and ship it home:whistle: :icon_rolleyes:

You're right Johnny not to... But I'd be serious too. Ive any awful longing for one at the mo... And thats one special one that you have. Two are enough for the mo and I've plenty of work left on the type R... But god I'd love your car!
